Day 1: Trek Dinsho to Sodota.
• Trek 20km 5-6 hours to sodota through the finch Habera waterfall and where the Web and will rivers join. This area is an outstanding bird watching the spot, particularly for
raptors and chance to see the rare and endangered Ethiopian Wolf. Set up for overnight in
Overnight: Camping at Sodota (3500m asl).
Day 2: Sodota to Wassema Camp.
• Trek to meraro valley 18km for 5-6 hours until you reach wassema wilderness campsite.The trails are covered predominantly in Erica vegetation, which in turn leads into afro-alpine habitats.Arrive at the campsite ,located at the base
of wassema mountain (4200 meters) and if the time permits,you can also make short
1-hour trek to the summit which offers superb panoramic views.
Overnight: Camping at Wassema (4000m asl).
Day 3: Trek Wassema to Sanetti Plateau.
• Leaving the wassema hills behind, you will head towards Sannette for 6-7hours, following worgona valley.Here the scenery changes dramatically as you pass the magnificent sheer
cliff of Arch’aah. From here heading to sannete pass via the craggy plug of Batu (4307m)
and camp overnight in Sanette camp.
Day 4: Meet the car and proceed to Goba/Robe
• The morning after breakfast you will pack up your tents for the car waiting for you then drive to the highest point of Ethiopia Tullu Demtu 4377 ” Red mountain”in local language) ;chance to see more Ethiopian wolves and you will get back to Robe.
